The vocational school was founded almost 60 years ago and is a part of The Educational Centre For Mentally Handicapped Children no 1 in Cracow.

We provide vocational tuition for students with minor (or mild) disabilities/disfunctions, which helps them find work despite their inabilities. Many students in our school come from poor, pathodological famielies (bad living conditions, single parents families, orphans) in which it would be hard to gain knowledge and working abilities in order to function properly in their later life. Thus, often, our school is the only hope to change their lives for better.

Many commuting students and the ones with economical/financial problems find a place in our boarding school (where they can also attend clubs, improve talents and join leisure activities or find help with school subjects). We also have our own workshops for many jobs we train for.

The centre (the vocational school, workshops and the boarding school- dormitory) gets financial help from 'Big Heart Society" which organising various auctions gathers many artists who being sensitive to the needs of the children, donate their works of art. Thanks to their help we are able to organise rehabilitative camps and school trips for our students.

We are proud of our students, who despite gaining the necessary tuition (job) can take part in other activities, belong to clubs, improve their talents in:

• Work out in our school gym
